Community-connected learning

Being in preschool and primary school should feel both motivating and meaningful. That’s when real learning happens.
At Vittra, we work with a community-connected approach to teaching, where learning is linked to real-life situations.
This means that our students engage in authentic projects and themes that make learning inspiring, relevant, and connected to the world around them.

What this looks like in practice

  • Relevance and Motivation

We connect our teaching to real-life experiences that make learning meaningful and relevant, inspiring greater motivation among our children and students.

  • Value-creating learning

Through value-creating learning, we use what we learn to create value for others, both within and beyond the school.
This might mean helping, teaching, or making things easier for others with the knowledge we have gained.

  • Real-world projects

In a project or case, teaching is based on a real-world problem that students work to solve within a set period of time.
In preschool, we often work with themes instead, to create meaningful connections in the children’s learning.
