Creativity
It can mean thinking new things, researching new solutions, using your knowledge in new contexts, adapting to different situations or having a flexible way of thinking.
All children and students should experience the joy of learning a lot in preschool and school. But it is not enough to just learn new things – personal development is at least as important. That’s why we work with something we call the Vittra skills, with a focus on strengthening both the children’s personal development, as well as giving them strategies for learning. This is an important part for the children to become aware of themselves and their surroundings.
The Vittra skills are an important part of individual development. We work with this differently depending on the age and the conditions of each child. The Vittra skills are also given areas to work on and practice together during our Vittra gatherings.
It can mean thinking new things, researching new solutions, using your knowledge in new contexts, adapting to different situations or having a flexible way of thinking.
It can mean taking responsibility for one’s own actions and one’s work, thinking critically and being able to understand consequences, taking responsibility for our common surroundings and environment.
It can mean knowing yourself and your own abilities, trusting that you can reach a particular goal, having a good self-image.
This can mean understanding and respecting other people’s needs and perspectives, wanting to act with the best interests of others in mind, building relationships, being curious about differences, communicating in a way that others understand.
This can mean creating structure in everyday life, reflecting on and guiding yourself in your learning, adjusting and thinking anew based on lessons learned.
It can mean staying focused, finishing what is started, not giving up, working methodically to reach your goals.
With the help of our educational tools, we create a clear structure, a courageous culture and conscious learning.
