Relationships and culture
The Vittra gatherings create the conditions for close relationships and courageous culture.
Vittra gatherings are held several times a week. The responsible teacher and the responsible children/students meet together. The aim of the gatherings is to create conditions for close relationships, conscious learning and a courageous culture.
The gatherings support the work with our educational direction and with the individual development plan. They are devoted, for example, to conversations and exercises linked to issues of basic values, issues of democracy, how we are together, etc. The gatherings is also used to deepen the work with planning, reflection and evaluation in our Vittra books.
In the elementary school, we even have an extended timetable to allow for assembly time, that’s how important this meeting is to us. The principal decides how assembly time should be allocated at the school.
